We have a fantastic Learning & Work Adviser – Phil Taylor – who works with our KS4 students to support their next steps. Students from Danesgate go to a wide range of providers. Some study for A levels at college or another local school, some follow a full time vocational course at York College or Askam Bryan College or Bishop Burton College. Some students prefer to follow a work based learning route with York Learning or by getting an Apprenticeship and learning on the job. Whatever the right next step for our students Phil will be there to support them from the start of Year 10 and then right up to the November after they have left Year 11. You can find out more about Careers Information and Guidance here.
