Job description
The Danesgate Community is a specialist setting for 5-16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health needs. Danesgate is a very welcoming and vibrant place to work and offers significant opportunities for professional development for anyone who is committed to working with vulnerable young people. We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Attendance & Student Support Officer who will be able to work under pressure and use their own initiative.
The successful candidate will work with the Pastoral Deputy Head, alongside key staff and external agencies to provide an outstanding attendance monitoring service as well as fulfilling administrative duties to support and enable the best possible attendance and learning environment for our young people. The successful candidate must have excellent Microsoft Office Skills.
20 hours per week over 5 days – timings to be discussed at interview.
This is an exciting and challenging position, which would start September 2018 with an induction period in July or August.
