Examination Officer

Salary: Grade 5, Level 1-4 (£17,976 to £19,763) p.a. reduced pro rata

Working hours: Part time (30 hrs per week), term-time only plus 3 weeks.

The Danesgate Community is looking to appoint an Examination / Information Officer. The post is for 30 hours per week (over 5 days), term-time only, plus three weeks. Candidates will be responsible for the administration, organisation and smooth running of all aspects of examinations in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.

First class administrative and organisational skills are required, as well as being an effective communicator with parents, students, staff and examination boards, and being able to organise and supervise invigilators. You will also be working with the Assistant Head of Achievement and be required to accurately input data and produce half-termly reports as directed by the Assistant Head of Achievement.

Previous experience of working as an examination officer would be desirable but is not essential as training can be provided. Previous experience of working with Excel or spread sheets is essential.
