Job description

The Danesgate Community is a specialist setting for 5-16 year olds with social, emotional and mental health needs.  Danesgate is a very welcoming and vibrant place to work and offers significant opportunities for professional development for anyone who is committed to working with vulnerable young people.  We are looking to appoint a teacher to lead in our Design Technology area.  The KS4 qualifications offer currently include vocational programmes in Landscape Construction as well as GCSEs in Design Technology disciplines.  The successful candidate will also be expected to introduce creative, practical learning opportunities around the campus across all age ranges.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
